The Comoros, officially the Union of the Comoros, is an island country in the Indian Ocean, at the northern end of the Mozambique Channel off the eastern coast of Africa. As a member of the Arab League, it is the only country in the Arab world which is entirely in the Southern Hemisphere.

The capital city is Moroni and is also the central business center.

Comoros has an offshore infrastructure for now and the future. but continues to cherish the traditions and customs that make Comoros both unique and special. With the help of foreign expertise, the Comoros financial center will become one of the major financial jurisdictions in the world.

Comoros laws to establish Jurisdiction were passed by the Comoros legislative  relating to all offshore activity and were carefully drawn up to produce a coherent and flexible regulatory framework. Comoros Services Ltd are the only exclusive company authorised by the Comoros Central Bank.

President Azali Assoumani has passed a decree confirming the establishment of the Comoros offshore sector.

The Central Bank of Comoros has announced by way of a notice on their website, (see http://www.banque-comores.km/cibanotice) that the Comoros International Banking Authority (CIBA) and the Comoros Finance Commission (CFC) are authorised to issue non-domestic International Licenses and the Registrar of International business companies are authorised to issue non-domestic International business companies
